Drum Major Instruction

Zoie Hill offers lessons in basic, intermediate and advanced drum major conducting.   Her program emphasis is in three areas:  (1) teaching all necessary elements for a student wishing to be prepared for a high school try-out as drum major; (2) developing a full conducting routine to the band music once the student has earned the drum major position; and (3) lessons in ‘off-podium’ leadership to assist both the program and the individual.    Directors have already raved at the successes of Zoie’s students, which have also been evident in competition.   Zoie was a high school drum major, and is pursuing a degree in Music Education at West Virginia State University
